How to report an error
Use Contact. Tell us the page URL and what is wrong. Do not send passwords, account credentials, or government ID. We do not need them to fix a fact.
How we fix things
- We correct the page when a factual error is confirmed.
- When a material fact changes (not a typo), we aim to leave a short dated note on the page or in the log below on this Corrections Policy page.
- A human editor is accountable for the fix — same accountability model as the Editorial Policy.
What counts as material
Wrong codes status, wrong “Tested” vs “Research-based” label, wrong specs that change a recommendation, or a claim that never had a source. Style nits and outdated dates that do not change the substance may be fixed quietly.
Corrections log
Material corrections are recorded here on the live Corrections Policy. The log is empty on purpose — we do not invent past corrections.
